In 1779 Isabella Baumfree also known as Sojourner Truth was born in Ulster County, On the Colonel Johannes Hardenbergh estate a Dutch settlement in upstate New York. She was one of 13 children born to Elizabeth and James Baumfree. Who were also slaves on the Hardenbergh plantation? She spoke only Dutch until she was sold at the age of nine to a family who beat her for the frequent miscommunications. She learned English very quickly but always had a heavy Dutch accent. When she fled to freedom in 1827 she said "I did not run off, for I thought that wicked, but I walked off, believing that to be all right." In 1843, she took the name Sojourner Truth, and began fighting for the right of slaves and women alike, by becoming abolitionist and feminist. In 1851 she gave her famous speech.
The speech “Aint I a Woman” was giving at a woman’s right convention, in Akron, Ohio. On may 29.1851. Same say the speech was largely in response to a man of the cloths argument that (white) women where too weak, helpless and delicate and should not be giving the right to vote. Because of the gravity and responsibility that comes with voting.
The topic was appropriate because, for one it was giving at a woman’s rights convention. Where it addressed the audience and what it was trying to fight for. The title itself says more than you can image. “I’m a woman but…

Throughout the speech Sojourner uses many literary terms in the basis of her speech. First there’s Anaphora in “Ain’t I a Woman” which we see in the body, which also doubles as a Rhetorical Question because the audience and clearly see that she indeed is a woman. Tautology, the repetition of words, is also there in the same phrase “Ain't I a Woman”. But lastly we see syllogism. The A=B B=C so therefore C=A.” Woman need to be helped into carriages…and have the best places everywhere, Nobody helps me… or give me the best place.” And this is a challenge to that rule because she is a woman but isn’t treated like. Are black and white different as long as the have breast and bear children?

Many people believe that the jest of the speech is about woman’s rights. But I believe or came too interpreted as a cry for justice. The tone has so much, somberness, and Urgency that pleas for sympathetic ears. I feel that she was talking for the mothers, children and fathers of a belittled race. It was saying that I am just as much a woman as your mother and sisters maybe even more, but no care or concern was cast upon me and still I’m here standing. The one saying “Aint I a woman” itself has been an inspiration, to me and every time I feel depression seeping into my being I think of those for words and feel better.

11:51 pm - Another day in hell
Tonight I cried myself to sleep for the first time. These weren't just tears ordinary tears of sadness. These were tears of pain, frustration, confusion and regret, falling down my face, To no avail the peace and serenity that comes after the "flood" was nowhere in sight. Instead it was collected like pools of misery at my feet. With each step I take I step in another puddle, of doubt, anger, and self destruction. Each time a step closer to my own demise. You can forgive unless you acept, and you can't acept inless you forgive. In the end I know I mad the best decision for all parties involed except for me. She will never know, He will never care, and I will never forget. Because with each waking thought is what-ifs every night of slumber is marred by scenes of inocent blood, and moments of silence are filled with blood curling screams of infantry pain by an unborn child.

Tune in next time for the next chapter of:

Being the first one to in your family can be a tiring sojourn journey; that will send you to unknown places created by your mind. Its as if you are continuing on a legacy that never begun but you know you are supposed to finish. It seems like you are the first to set forth on this lucid journey that s the challenge of a life time. You are the trend setter. The pioneer making new tracks and blazing new trails. So you can look back and beckon others to follow in your meticulous laden footsteps. Its as though you’re going threw new territories and virgin lands (Looking for, that treasure that everyone was sure you would find). Forging your way forward only to be turned around by the unknown and the “things” that came to life, in the darkest part of yourself; the acuity of your mind being debilitated with every move you make, because you fear that the despondence of your heart eating away at your very soul. The loneliness that you feel just gets worse  Slowly but surly your start to tire physically, mentally and spiritually while on this quest for higher learning.

Holy........ HOly......

 Worthy to be praised
Can't you hear the angels
Crying holy? Holy! Holy! ....Holy

Let's set the atmosphere......
For a blessing.!
.........LETS SET THE ATMOSPHERE.....!
For a mighty move of God
IS IT ALL RIGHT IF WE TAKE A MINUET TO set the ATMOSPHERE?

for a blessing?
There's a blessing in the room tonight
There's deliverance in the room tonight
There's a financial break through in the room tonight
Who's gonna get it?
 who's gonna get it?

 WHO'S GONNA GET IT?

Is it you?.. is it you?.. is it you?... Is it you....

My brothers and my sisters (3 times)
I sed my brothers and my sisters

Were not standing here tonight to entertain you
But we've come to remind you (4 times)
When praises go up (4 times)
Blessings come down....~
Reach up and grab it (4 times)
It's yours (5 times)

I'm an Orange Moon
I'm an Orange Moon
Reflecting the light of the sun

Many nights he was alone
Many many many nights
His light was so bright that they turn awaya
And he stood alone every night and every day
Then he turned to me he saw his reflection in me and he smiled at me
When he turned to me then he said to me
How good it is, How good it is, How good it is,
How good it is

I'm an Orange Moon, I'm brighter than before
Brighter than ever before
I'm an Orange Moon and I shine so bright
cause I reflect the light of my sun

I praise the day he turned my way and smiled at me
He gets to smile and I get to be orange that I love to be

How good it is, How

Shine so bright
He ruled the day, I ruled the night
Shine shine shine
How good it is
How good he is
How God is
How good it is How God is
How good it is

I'm an orange moon I'm brighter than
Before brighter
Reflecting the light of the sun

man I love this song and the way it flows is just sooooooo great

so yea now i try to put some pictures tell me if it worked okay? well next time

Makes me feel so sad and hurt inside
Feel embarrassed so I wanna hide
Silly me I thought your love was true
Change my name to silly E Badu
Before I heal, it's gonna be awhile
I know it's gonna be awhile chile

Love has got me sore

You told me, you love me too
And then you lost your love
And then your love
Oh then you lost your love
Wanted me to go away, but I can't do both see
I can't leave
It's too late
I can't leave
It's too late

It's too late
Can't go nowhere
It's too late
What the hell is wrong with me
You told me we had a family
Wanna run a muck when your down and low
Then times get hard and then you go
Ohh out the door you wanna run again
Open my arms and you come back in
Wanna run cause you said that you were afraid
Never knew what a friendship was
Never knew how to really love
You cant be what I need you too
And I don't know why fucked with you
I know our love will never be the same
But I can't stand these growing pains.

Some thing you have to think about before becoming a photographer. One Technical expertise, a “good eye,” imagination, and creativity are essential. More than half of all photographers are self-employed; but the most successful are able to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and are adept at operating a business. So now on to nature of the work. Photographers produce and preserve images that paint a picture, tell a story, and preseve history. To create a commercial quality photograph, photographers need technical expertise and creativity in what they do. Producing a successful picture requires choosing and presenting a subject to achieve a particular effect, and also using the right matrials and equipment. Such asfilm, lenses, and equipment—from filters, tripods, and flash attachments just to name a few.For example, photographers may enhance the subject’s appearance with natural or artificial light, use a particular lens depending on the desired range or level of detail, or draw attention to a particular aspect of the subject by blurring the background. But with todays technology, many cameras adjust settings such as shutter speed and aperture automatically. They also let the photographer adjust these settings manually, allowing greater creative and technical control over the picture-taking process giving the photograhy a more wider range of creative posibilities. Photographers either use a traditional camera that records images on silver halide film that is developed into prints or a digital camera that electronically records images. Some photographers send their film to laboratories for processing. Because color film requires expensive equipment and exacting conditions for correct processing and printing. While other photographers, some of thoses who use black and white film or who require special effects, prefer to develop and print their own photographs. Photographers who do their own film developing must have the technical skill to operate a fully equipped darkroom or the appropriate computer software to process prints digitally and came play with their creaticity.Recent advances in electronic technology now make it possible for the professional photographer to develop and scan standard 35mm or other types of film, and use flatbed scanners and photofinishing laboratories to produce computer-readable, digital images from film. Once that is done photographer and edit and send images far places simply by email. This makes it easier and faster to shoot, develop, and transmit pictures from remote locations. Some photographers specialize in areas such as portrait, commercial and industrial, scientific, news, or fine arts photography. Portrait photographers take pictures of individuals or groups of people and often work in their own studios. Some specialize in weddings, religious ceremonies, or school photographs and may work on location. Commercial and industrial photographers take pictures of various subjects, such as buildings, models, merchandise, artifacts, and landscapes. These photographs are used in a variety of media, including books, reports, advertisements, and catalogs. Industrial photographers often take pictures of equipment, machinery, products, workers, and company officials. The pictures are used for various purposes—for example, analysis of engineering projects, publicity, or records of equipment development or deployment, such as placement of an offshore rig. Scientific photographers take images of a variety of subjects to illustrate or record scientific or medical data or phenomena, using knowledge of scientific procedures. They typically possess additional knowledge in areas such as engineering, medicine, biology, or chemistry. News photographers, also called photojournalists, photograph newsworthy people, places, and sporting, political, and community events for newspapers, journals, magazines, or television. Some news photographers are salaried staff; others are self-employed and are known as freelance photographers. Fine arts photographers sell their photographs as fine artwork. In addition to technical proficiency, fine arts photographers need artistic talent and creativity. Self-employed, or freelance, photographers may license the use of their photographs through stock photo agencies or contract with clients or agencies to provide photographs as necessary. Stock agencies grant magazines and other customers the right to purchase the use of photographs, and, in turn, pay the photographer on a commission basis. Stock photo agencies require an application from the photographer and a sizable portfolio. Once accepted, a large number of new submissions usually is required from the photographer each year. Working Conditions Working conditions for photographers vary considerably. Photographers employed in government and advertising agencies usually work a 5-day, 40-hour week. On the other hand, news photographers often work long, irregular hours and must be available to work on short notice. Some photographers work in uncomfortable or even dangerous surroundings, especially news photographers covering accidents, natural disasters, civil unrest, or military conflicts. Many photographers must wait long hours in all kinds of weather for an event to take place and stand or walk for long periods while carrying heavy equipment. Employment Photographers held about 130,000 jobs in 2002. More than half were self-employed, a much higher proportion than the average for all occupations. Some self-employed photographers have contracts with advertising agencies, magazines, or others to do individual projects at a predetermined fee, while others operate portrait studios or provide photographs to stock photo agencies. Most salaried photographers work in portrait or commercial photography studios. Newspapers, magazines, television broadcasters, and advertising agencies employ most of the others. Most photographers work in metropolitan areas raining, Other Qualifications, and Advancement [About this section] Back to Top Training, Other Qualifications, and Advancement Employers usually seek applicants with a “good eye,” imagination, and creativity, as well as a good technical understanding of photography. Entry-level positions in photojournalism or in industrial or scientific photography generally require a college degree in journalism or photography. Freelance and portrait photographers need technical proficiency, whether gained through a degree program, vocational training, or extensive work experience. Many universities, community and junior colleges, vocational-technical institutes, and private trade and technical schools offer photography courses. Basic courses in photography cover equipment, processes, and techniques. Bachelor’s degree programs, especially those including business courses, provide a well-rounded education. Art schools offer useful training in design and composition. Individuals interested in photography should subscribe to photographic newsletters and magazines, join camera clubs, and seek summer or part-time employment in camera stores, newspapers, or photo studios. Photographers may start out as assistants to experienced photographers. Assistants learn to mix chemicals, develop film, and print photographs, and acquire the other skills necessary to run a portrait or commercial photography business. Freelance photographers also should develop an individual style of photography in order to differentiate themselves from the competition. Some photographers enter the field by submitting unsolicited photographs to magazines and to art directors at advertising agencies. For freelance photographers, a good portfolio of their work is critical. Portrait photographers need the ability to help people relax in front of the camera. Commercial and fine arts photographers must be imaginative and original. News photographers not only must be good with a camera, but also must understand the story behind an event so that their pictures match the story. They must be decisive in recognizing a potentially good photograph and act quickly to capture it. Photographers who operate their own businesses, or freelance, need business skills as well as talent. These individuals must know how to prepare a business plan; submit bids; write contracts; market their work; hire models, if needed; get permission to shoot on locations that normally are not open to the public; obtain releases to use photographs of people; license and price photographs; secure copyright protection for their work; and keep financial records. Knowledge of licensing and copyright laws as well as contract negotiation procedures is especially important for self-employed photographers, in order to protect their rights and their work. After several years of experience, magazine and news photographers may advance to photography or picture editor positions. Some photographers teach at technical schools, film schools, or universities. Job Outlook Photographers can expect keen competition for job openings because the work is attractive to many people. The number of individuals interested in positions as commercial and news photographers usually is much greater than the number of openings. Those who succeed in landing a salaried job or attracting enough work to earn a living by freelancing are likely to be the most creative, able to adapt to rapidly changing technologies, and adept at operating a business. Related work experience, job-related training, or some unique skill or talent—such as a background in computers or electronics—also are beneficial to prospective photographers. Employment of photographers is expected to increase about as fast as the average for all occupations through 2012. Demand for portrait photographers should increase as the population grows. As the number of electronic versions of magazines, journals, and newspapers increases on the Internet, commercial photographers will be needed to provide digital images. Job growth, however, will be constrained somewhat by the widespread use of digital photography and the falling price of digital equipment. Besides increasing photographers’ productivity, improvements in digital technology reduce barriers of entry into this profession and allow more individual consumers and businesses to produce, store, and access photographic images on their own. Declines in the newspaper industry also will reduce demand for photographers to provide still images for print. Earnings Median annual earnings of salaried photographers were $24,040 in 2002. The middle 50 percent earned between $17,740 and $34,910. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $14,640, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $49,920. Median annual earnings in the industries employing the largest numbers of salaried photographers were $31,460 for newspapers and periodicals and $21,860 for other professional or scientific services. Salaried photographers—more of whom work full time—tend to earn more than those who are self-employed. Because most freelance and portrait photographers purchase their own equipment, they incur considerable expense acquiring and maintaining cameras and accessories. Unlike news and commercial photographers, few fine arts photographers are successful enough to support themselves solely through their art
